We've been seeing lots of new faces lately and we are so thankful for the ongoing support and love!
With that said, our team wanted to take the time to introduce ourselves and share our creative vision and backgrounds with all of you.
Elizabeth Sarah Walker (pictured on the right) is the Artist, Designer and boss lady behind the company, Elizabeth Sarah Collections.
As for myself (pictured on the left), my name is Ally Giudice and I'm Elizabeth's Assistant Designer and Accounts Manager, as well as blog writer and sometimes her house-sitter-cat-lady.
Together we are like Pete & Repeat and, though we didn't know each other before we started working together, have formed a sisterly bond and can never go a day without talking to each other.
While most people might dread that their boss calls them within 5 minutes after leaving the office almost every day, we can never get enough in during work hours and usually end up hanging out immediately afterwards.
More likely than not, our average work day starts with sharing our morning cups of coffee together (or, if I'm lucky, Boo's famous breakfast sandwich) and starting on whatever needs to be done, whether it's production, inventory, social media, etc.
Philip usually checks in on us at some point to talk about upcoming events or his new paintings, and ends up leaving shaking his head because he knows he's stuck with us.
Elizabeth and I share more than just common interests in our profession. We are dedicated to our passion and understand the hustle, both having to work several jobs at once at some point in our lives.
We like to play hard and work harder, making traveling together with our significant others and best friends that much more fun.
For those new to our website, Instagram or Facebook page, ESC is an Atlantic Beach, Florida based jewelry line that features handmade, one of a kind and small batch jewelry.
We pair fine metals with semi-precious and precious gemstones from around the globe, along with locally sourced materials like sharks teeth, sea glass and sea shells.
Elizabeth has been in the jewelry design industry since 2002. She began her career as an apprentice for a local jewelry designer in Aspen, Colorado while earning her Associates Degree and being a part-time ski bum. During this time, she worked several jobs while going to school, and always had a strong sense of work ethic.
After five years in the position learning and absorbing all the information that led to starting her own independent career, she married her husband, artist Philip Walker in 2004. Shortly after they moved to Florida, Elizabeth Sarah Collections was created in 2006.
Elizabeth's love for jewelry and art appreciation began, however, when she was a little girl. Her grandmother was the ultimate cosmopolitan socialite, and Elizabeth loved to go through her jewelry collection and would play dress up every chance she got. Elizabeth’s love for the glamorous elegance of fine jewelry stayed with her her whole life and was a huge influence even before she began her career as an independent jewelry designer.
While running the company is her life passion and she has poured countless hours of blood, sweat and tears into her work, she also has other hobbies that fulfill her adventurous side.
Elizabeth grew up in the Midwest, between Chicago, Illinois and Powers Lake, Wisconsin. Family vacations always involved nature, especially road trips to Colorado, where she fell in love with the mountains, Aspen forests, and everything in between.
Elizabeth (or Boo, as we call her) loves traveling and still has a piece of her heart in the Midwest and Western United States. She and Philip love to travel with their RV and Puggy Sue, hitting the open road and camping at new spots along the way to their destination.
It's not just the mountains she seeks, though. Whether its a lake, spring, ocean, or any other aquatic form, Elizabeth is always down for the ride (or splash.)
I'm a New Jersey born and Floria raised ocean lover and always had interest in a creative field.
Although it took me 24 years and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology to figure it out, I found my passion working for Elizabeth Sarah Collections.
I also work part time at local Jax Beach fine dining restaurant, Eleven South Bistro as Events Coordinator.
But between the actual design and production process, to meeting/hosting clients and pop up shows, to photography and inventory, I absolutely love every aspect of the business.
And if you were wondering, how Elizabeth and I met, buckle up.
It all started in the California desert, specifically in Indio, CA where the Coachella festival is held. I technically submitted my application and formal email to her about a week before the event, in early April 2014.
Realizing we were both going to be out in California for the same festival and after parties, we exchanged info and eventually realized we both had mutual friends going out there.
Long story short, after a 1.5 hour Uber ride, arriving at 2:30 in the morning, sneaking past security with my two best friends, I found Elizabeth, Philip and our friends around a campfire, playing Two Truths and a Lie, and the rest is history.
