Living at the beach is more than just a lifestyle for us at Elizabeth Sarah Collections. Loving where we live also means keeping our shoreline and community clean and safe.
The beaches of North Florida are near and dear to us, as we find all of our ocean treasures there that have inspired our signature collections.
Imagine if the beautiful seaglass we find hadn't been gently tumbled by waves and sand for decades, producing a gemlike stone? If this glass or other items had just been on the beach for years it could do some serious damage to people and wildlife.
Our team uses the beach almost daily to surf, swim or exercise on the sand, and we don't want this taken away from us or anyone else due to pollution. We believe in the impact of community awareness and honoring Mother Nature by doing our part to keep our town and beaches clean.
In celebration of Earth Day this month and to help keep our town clean, we've teamed up with Allison Shirley of Clean Your 904 for a Trash for Treasure Challenge and Giveaway!
Allison already has a huge following, as she's been leading beach clean ups since 2012, and has since expanded her organization to cover the entire Duval County area.
When she approached us about doing this giveaway we loved the idea of being involved as creators of ocean inspired jewelry and frequent beach bums. We knew one of our sustainably sourced shark tooth necklaces would be the perfect prize.
