Elizabeth Sarah Collections is making BIG moves ya'll! After owning her business for over a decade, Artist Elizabeth Walker officially has her own shop in the heart of Jacksonville Beach, just minutes away from her production studio.
Ever since setting up her business and moving to Atlantic Beach, Florida, she has always created and sold her pieces from her home studio while also slinging bling at pop ups and gallery showings from Florida to New York to Chicago and Los Angeles.
Knowing she could always take her creations on the go, while also selling via her website and scheduling personal appointments in her home studio, she never felt the need for a brick and mortar shop. After all, don’t we all want the mobility and freedom while running a business?
However this didn’t allow for much growth as the gallery can only hold so much product, and with our new production space, Aquilla Studio, Elizabeth Sarah Collections is having a major growth spurt.
So what do we do now, you’re probably wondering? Open up shop of course! The opportunity for this location came at the perfect time, as it’s been one year since building our backyard production space which we also share with Elizabeth’s husband and Artist, Philip Bennett Walker. Not to mention the holidays are approaching and will be here in no time! After the long and trying year of 2020, I think we’re all very ready for a break to focus on family, friends, and joyful times while supporting our local small businesses.
Having a shop means we are able to provide our creations to a larger audience with passerby’s and traffic from all over town, while also decorating the wall space with Philips art.
The team is so excited to open up shop come September but first there will be renovations such as new flooring, lighting and other aesthetic touch ups.
This space will have the boho loung-y feel that captures our approach to life and inspires each necklace.
The location, at the corner of 9th Avenue North and A1A, is nearly at the center of town, meaning you can come shop while you’re out and about gearing up for the holidays and crossing off your gift list.
Elizabeth has dreamt of owning her own shop for years and now all her hard work has paid off, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you. The amount of love, dedication and fine craftsmanship that goes into each handmade piece of jewelry can be felt as soon as you walk into our store.
Shop days and hours of operation are yet to be determined, but make sure you’re following our journey to our Grand Opening to stay in the know - cause you know it’s gonna be a hell of a party 😉
