So you Elizabeth Sarah Collections fans might remember when Elizabeth was invited to do a segment on the Jacksonville Buzz earlier this year, but did you know that she and co-host Grant Smith ended up becoming friends and working on other projects together?
For those who missed the segment, the Jacksonville Buzz is our city's entertainment resource. It keeps our citizens in the know about community arts, cuisine, nightlife and more.
Elizabeth received great feedback from the interview, and in turn, so did Elizabeth Sarah Collections. She clearly recognized the potential of mass media for her company and from that, ideas began to grow in the form of new, similar projects.
Grant has moved on to other adventures since the Jacksonville Buzz segment, producing and promoting culinary videos that show off the North Florida food and drink scene via @grantsfoodiefix Instagram page. But he's not limited to just the local foodie destinations; together, he Elizabeth came up with an idea for two promotional videos.
The latest collaboration is yet to be released, as it’s still being worked on but we want to give you the inside scoop and hope you are as stoked as we are!
The first video focuses on a day in the life of the Elizabeth Sarah Collections team.
A typical day in the Elizabeth Sarah Collections studio involves Elizabeth designing new, one of a kind jewelry, producing these new designs, photographing and inventorying, and finally packaging up online orders to be shipped out. All of this is usually followed by Elizabeth’s and my happy dance which may or may have not been caught on camera.
The second video features specifically the Shoreline Collection. It is by far our most popular worldwide collection, meaning that our locally found shark tooth, sea glass and shell necklaces have made their way to Australia, Europe, South America, the Middle East and beyond.
We are so proud of this collection and the joy it brings to our customers around the world as they share our love for the sea and our shoreline treasures. As other collections have evolved over the years, this one will surely follow suit, however we intend to continue to design with the purpose of honoring Mother Nature and using her gifts in each Shoreline piece.
With the videography by master magician Garrison Muelhausen of 3D Digital (a local agency), and Grant's eye for production specifics, our team had the best day working together and bringing our ideas to life. Philip was also involved, generally overseeing everyone's efforts, helping with equipment, documenting behind the scenes, and being Elizabeth's biggest cheerleader.
We all maybe had too much fun, with Puggy Sue making her debut appearance and later playing around on the beach but hopefully some of the bloopers make the cut (those are the best parts anyway right?)
We are thrilled to release these videos that show the progress and hard work that goes into the design and production of each unique Elizabeth Sarah piece, and hope you enjoy!
