Here at Elizabeth Sarah Collections we have big town dreams backed by a small town business. Providing customers worldwide with fine designs and top notch customer service is just one reason we're able to function like a large corporate business but with the hospitality and care of a small company.
Small business owners are those who found their passion, stuck with it, and saw an opportunity to stand out by offering something different than the corporate brands.
Staking her livelihood on her business isn't just a simple career choice, but it has become a carefully cultivated lifestyle for designer Elizabeth Walker. Owning a small business is a sacrifice in some ways, but it's also a fulfilling and motivating way of life.
Customers who buy products and services from small businesses like Elizabeth Sarah Collections mean they are not only supporting someone's dream, but their livelihood too.
Small, local businesses also create jobs for those in communities who don’t have access to corporate careers, or who may specialize in a technical skill.
Whether it’s teaching a trade or a service, like jewelry design in our case, working for a small business gives people a chance to invest in a idea and help it grow into a successful, profitable company.
And as the small businesses grow from the support in their community, it shows others that they can also live out their dreams and pursue their passions.
It can be seen firsthand in our own company. I have always had an interest in fashion and jewelry and after years of trying to craft my own creations I began working for Elizabeth Sarah Collections. While it takes more than just blood, sweat and tears to run the business, it showed me that if someone is passionate enough about their skill or idea, that they can successfully run their own company as well.
Elizabeth Sarah Collections is run out of Atlantic Beach, which is a small seaside town just outside of Jacksonville. This area and the North Florida region has a crazy creative community which we are so proud to be part of, and which has helped Elizabeth Sarah Collections grow into the successful company that it is.
Unlike Miami or Los Angeles, the creative scene is still very up and coming, which helps new artists and entrepreneurs stand out here, as the community isn't already over-saturated.
Many local companies also are dedicated to giving back or highlighting other local businesses and artists like us.
A big movement we've seen recently in the art and entrepreneurial scene is women supporting women. We believe that it's critical to empower women in business and break the barrier between gender norms.
With the support of our local community we are now able to reach clients far and wide and run a local, small business on a global scale.
Through outreach and a little neighborly love, Elizabeth Sarah Collections can host local trunk shows and gallery shows in major cities like Aspen and Manhattan.
We hope to inspire others in our community to pursue their dreams like Elizabeth did, and spread the love and appreciation for all small business owners.
