Well, another year is wrapping up and as we're closing some chapters and opening new ones, we wanted to fill you all in one some exciting recent events from the past few months!
While we've been slinging bling in our new retail store in Jacksonville Beach, there's always more work to be done, and we especially love when it's mixed with a little play and inspiration.
Recently Elizabeth and Philip drove to Miami for Art Basel, which takes place in early December. For those who aren't familiar with the weeklong event that draws thousands of people from all over the world, Art Basel is the leading global platform connecting collectors, galleries, and artists. Sprawled out among the city of Miami, there are dozens of exhibitions to see, coinciding with concerts and parties for the art elite and tourists alike.
This event is one the Walker's look forward to every year, and are always eager to check out what's new in the international art scene, and meet with fellow like-minded peers. The two constantly seek out new art to collect, be inspired by, and decorate their home with (and what better place to find some new pieces than Art Basel?!)
Elizabeth and Philip not only went to Miami to view and score some new art, they also had scheduled meetings and strategized collaborations, and even picked up the latest batch of solid gold & diamond shark tooth necklaces from our master jeweler. If you haven't seen these beauties yet, be sure to check them out in the Fine Collection before they're gone! Another collection is also in the works but I don't want to spoil the surprise just yet, so stay tuned and be sure to follow along our journey with our Solid Gold & Diamond line!
Previous to Miami, the Walkers have hit the road a few times, to family weddings in Maine and Chicago, and spent Thanksgiving with Philip's family in New Smyrna Beach before our big weekend of sales for Black Friday. You can bet they also plan on getting in more quality time for the holidays with their yearly trip the Midwest.
If you think that's it for this little update, buckle up because we've got big news: Elizabeth Sarah Collections is officially taking over New York City! Well, the holiday market at Bryant Park, that is.
Elizabeth displayed her one of a kind and small batch handmade jewelry at the Holiday Shops at Bryant Park Thursday December 9th & Friday December 10th.
The European inspired open-air market features artisans from around the world and is located along Bryant Park’s allées and terraces, parallel to the famous 5th Avenue.
This is a huge milestone for Elizabeth and Philip, and besides New York City being one of the fashion capitals of the world, the Elizabeth Sarah Collections line has never been introduced and exhibited on this sort of scale before. Thanks to our friend Brandon with Boozie & Co, the team was able to have this opportunity to showcase Elizabeth's creations- and if that's not bucket-list business goals I don't know what is!
Upon their return from New York, the team is looking forward to our first Holiday Party at the Elizabeth Sarah Collections Gallery! Like our grand opening, we'll have a festive display, food and drinks. Of course there will also be plenty of bling and art for you to shop and treat yourself to, or shop for those on your holiday gift list!
