The Artist Behind the Collection
Born in Chicago and raised in Powers Lake, Wisconsin, Elizabeth found her love for the art and design at an early age. As a child, the box of beads and string that she always had stocked to make bracelets for her friends eventually turned into the passion she has today for creating one of a kind, beautiful designs using gemstones, pearls , and silver.
Elizabeth moved to Aspen, Colorado at the age of 19. After finishing her education, she apprenticed with a local Jewelry Designer for three years, where she realized her love and dedication to the craft. Following her marriage to artist Philip Walker, they traded the mountains for the sea and settled in her husbands home State of Florida, where they both show and display their work in local venues throughout Central and Northern Florida. Elizabeth and Philip support each other’s dreams-enabling those dreams to become a reality.
Each piece in the Elizabeth Sarah Collection is hand made by the artist, and is one of a kind. Elizabeth uses semi-precious gemstones, such as Peruvian Chalcedony, Iolite, Citrine, Quartz, Jasper, Amazonite, Amethyst, Carnelian, and Agate. She also uses lustrous fresh water pearls from all around the world. Incorporating silver wire and chain, and utilizing wire-wrapping techniques that date back 2000 years, her combination of bold schemes and subtle, yet beautiful attention to detail, make the perfect match of East meets West design. Elizabeth has received several accolades for her work, and her wish is to allow her jewelry to bring out the inspiration and beauty in you.
